Now, more than ever, I?m seeing the benefit of sites like Care.com. As my own mother struggles with health issues and the dilemma of no longer being able to care for herself on her own, finding the right help for her has hit home hard and it?s time for family to step-up. I remember when I first began searching online for senior care help for my mom. It was overwhelming. There are so many choices out there, so many resources, but so many of them are vague and not really what I wanted to spend hours researching. This is why sites, such as Care.com are so helpful. They offer a senior care guide, to help in getting through and making sense of the information available. I found this to be the perfect place to start. I hope you find it helpful too.
More than 40 million Americans provide caregiving for an adult family member who needs help with daily activities and additional 60 million more provided at least some care during the year, and many are them unprepared to do so. I thought you might be interested in featuring a new resource available to help those, who need help with caring for their aging parents.
According to a recent survey by Care.com, Baby Boomers are aware of their aging parents? needs, but they lack the vital care resources and tools necessary to provide that care. Care.com now offers those tools for the sandwich generation and for anyone needing help with finding the proper care for the aging population. With a comprehensive senior care guide and other vital information, Care.com has the support services needed for the growing needs of the elder population.
